Results That Redefine Success

7.3

Avarage interviews per student

Most applicants receive zero to one interviews, and matriculants average about three. Our students average more than double that, which creates more options for location, training, and specialty.

100%

Acceptance rate for on-time applicants

Every on-time student in the most recent cycle earned at least one acceptance.

1 in 3

Students receive a scholarship

A compelling story and a well built strategy make schools see you as someone they want to admit. That often includes financial support.

1M+

Scholarships Earned

Our students secure significant funding because their applications communicate value, purpose, and fit in a way that stands out to committees.

Catalyst students do not settle for any school that will take them. They earn offers from programs that match their goals, location needs, and long term specialty ambitions.

Who This Program Is Built For

A quick look at the students who thrive inside Premed Catalyst.
Premed 1

First-time applicants
with strong academics

You have solid stats and meaningful experiences. Now you need a strategy and a story that separates you from thousands of applicants with the same numbers.

Premed 4

Re-
applicants

ready to improve

You have already felt the sting of silence, waitlists, and rejection emails. This time, you want structure, clarity, and support so you never have to apply again.

Premed 2

Gap year
Students

building real momentum

You took time to grow, work, build hours, or get life experience. You want that effort to translate into interviews and real options, not another year of waiting.

Premed 5

First-gen applicants
seeking real guidance

You are navigating a system that was not built for you, often without family or institutional support. You want mentors who understand your path and can help you move with confidence.

Why Most Apps Miss

(And Why Yours Doesn’t Have To)

Every year, thousands of capable premeds get filtered out. Not because they are unqualified, but because their applications fall into the same traps we see over and over.
High stats without real readiness.
A 520 MCAT and 3.9 GPA cannot save an application built on burnout, self doubt, or last minute writing. Committees can sense when an applicant is not grounded or confident in their story. Strong numbers get you noticed. Readiness gets you interviews.
Guessing what AdComs want
Trying to sound “impressive” creates essays that blend in with everyone else. Committees read thousands of versions of the same clinical stories, research summary, and resilience anecdote. If your story does not make them think “we need to meet this person,” they move on.
Applying late and scrambling
Rushing your primary and secondaries is one of the fastest ways to fall behind in a rolling admissions system. As the cycle goes on, you compete against more students for less seats at medical school. Late work leads to weaker writing, rushed decisions, and fewer interview invites. It is not just a timing problem. It is a strategy problem.

How we fix it

Our Medical School Admissions Consulting is developed to eliminate these failure points. You get a clear plan, not guess work. A narrative only you can tell, not something that sounds like every other premed. And a timeline that keeps you ahead of the cycle, not chasing deadlines with caffeine and panic.

How We Build Competitive Applicants

Not just essay editing. A full application engine built to get you options.

What We Do

How We Do It

What You Get

Team-based support

You work directly with a Medical Advisor to brainstorm and draft your essays, refine them with a Writing Advisor, and then have them reviewed and finalized by our program management team of former AdComs members and senior advisors.

You always know who is guiding you at each stage, receive coordinated feedback that builds strategically, and follow a clear roadmap so you understand exactly what to work on and what comes next.

Narrative strategy

We develop a Creative Brief early and use it to align your experiences, values, and motivations across every part of the application.

Your application tells one clear story that feels intentional, cohesive, and memorable.

Unlimited brainstorming

We use structured prompts, live conversations, and written feedback to uncover stories you might overlook on your own.

You gain clarity around what matters, what to include, and how to articulate it confidently.

Unlimited revisions

We edit iteratively across your Personal Statement, Work and Activities, and up to 25 secondary applications, with no limits on drafts or feedback.

You submit writing that feels finished, polished, and fully representative of your best work.

AdCom-level final checks

Before submission, we review your full application for consistency, clarity, and strategic alignment.

You submit knowing your application is coherent, intentional, and free of avoidable weaknesses.

Acceptance conversion support

We advise on post interview communication, letters of intent, and timing based on your specific schools.

You improve your chances of converting interviews and waitlists into final acceptances.

School list selection

We build your list using your metrics, narrative, mission fit, and geographic considerations together.

You apply to schools where you are competitive and where your story genuinely fits.

School-specific interview preparation

We tailor mock interviews and feedback to each school’s format, values, and evaluation style.

You enter interviews prepared, composed, and able to communicate your story naturally.

First Cycle Guarantee

If you apply on time and stay engaged, we continue supporting you through the next cycle if needed.

You are protected from repeating the process alone or paying again for the same guidance.

What You Invest in Your Application Shapes What You Get Out of It

Applying to medical school is one of the most important decisions you will make. The right support does not simply improve your essays. It increases your options, reduces uncertainty, and moves you into medical school with momentum and confidence. Our students see their investment as a way to save time, reduce risk, and avoid the emotional and financial cost of reapplying.

A Full Team Behind Your Application
You are not paying for edits. You are investing in a complete system that includes mentorship, strategy, narrative development, unlimited revisions, interview preparation, and AdCom-level review. Every part of your application receives expert attention.
Programs Tailored to Where You Are in the Cycle
Your plan is built around where you are and what you need most. Some students join early to shape strategy and narrative. Others join closer to the cycle for writing, execution, and interview prep. Support aligns with your timeline and goals.
The Cost of Applying Twice Is Higher
Delaying a cycle often means more uncertainty, more stress, and more lost time. Each extra year can push back physician-level income and momentum. Students who apply with clarity and structure often move forward sooner and with stronger outcomes.
A System Designed to Pay You Back
Strong storytelling, a strategic school list, and well-positioned secondaries can change outcomes. Our students have earned over one million dollars in scholarships so far. Medical schools invest in applicants who present with clarity, fit, and intention.
Payment Plans Available
We offer flexible payment options so finances do not delay progress. You can begin with confidence and stay focused on building a strong application rather than worrying about logistics. The goal is momentum, not added stress.

When the Work Pays Off

Real words from real students who showed up, did the work, and transformed their applications from uncertain to undeniable.
"Interviewers were commenting on my personal statement. I remember in one interview I had...I was talking about it and I was literally just saying what I had written in my personal statement and the interviewer started tearing up. And so for me, I knew I wrote a very solid statement, so it was worth the investment for sure."

"Everybody was reaching out like all my friends and family. They honestly didn't know what the hell they were talking about and they couldn't wait to review my essays. I got like all over the place. And my parents obviously didn't know anything and they were just being really annoying, so I was like, all right, let's get the expert."

"I was able to write about my extracurriculars in a very cohesive way. Another reason I reached out for consulting services in the first place was I looked at my activities and I was like, none of these go together, and half of these have nothing to do with medicine."

"Writing has always been a different ball game for me. It's not been my strongest suit. And so that was my biggest fear. But [the Premed Catalyst team] was there with me for all these secondaries and [they] helped a lot. I think what really helped is seeing how [the Premed Catalyst team] were editing. The first two to three essays I figured out how to adapt to that model."

"I remember going through seven or eight drafts (of my personal statement). And every single time I'd bring it back to [the Premed Catalyst team], it'd be like, oh, this is good, but I don't think this is the right story...But I think the final draft I ended up with was perfect for what I needed. I'm happy that [the Premed Catalyst team] kept on pushing me."

"I think that [the Premed Catalyst team] was really great. [They] knew what [they] were talking about. Anytime [they] responded to something, [they] were very thorough. Clearly it was good advice. And when [they] gave comments on things, it was really big picture things that really helped me."

You care where you end up and want real options for medical school
You are willing to reflect, write, and revise with honest feedback
You want structure, accountability, and a clear plan
You have the time and budget to invest in a full support program
You want to avoid extra gap years and reapplications

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the product and billing.
Do I really need Medical School Admissions Consulting?
Students join our program for three main reasons:

• To reduce or avoid extra gap years and the costs that come with reapplying.

• To earn real options for medical school, not just one acceptance.

• To become competitive for in-state and top tier medical schools, not “anywhere that takes me.”

If you want your writing to hit, your application to stand out, and your cycle to be less chaotic, this type of support is worth it.
Who is this program for?
This program is built for students who want real options when they apply to medical school. Most of our students are aiming to become competitive for in-state schools or top tier programs so they can keep doors open to strong residencies, competitive specialties, and long-term career opportunities.

You are likely a strong fit if:

• You plan to apply this cycle or next and already have (or are close to having) your core experiences such as clinical exposure, volunteering, and research.

• You care where you end up, not just whether you get in somewhere.

• You want to reduce or eliminate gap years. Every extra year can delay a physician-level salary by $200,000 to $400,000.

• You are willing to do the work, reflect honestly, write, revise, and build a narrative that feels true to you.

This program is not a fit if you are looking for shortcuts or magic. If academics are weak, clinical experience is minimal, and there is no willingness to reflect or revise, we are not the right partner.
How does the mentorship program work? Would we meet weekly? Monthly?
Here's a sample video explaining a rough timeline so you can get a sense of the pace with which we support mentees. Overall, our program has modules that are week to week mentorship sessions until we hit an outcome (e.g. getting a Letter of Recommendation). If we don’t hop into another module right away, we will switch the pace to quarterly until it’s time to add more to your application.
Who are your mentors and how do you match them with students?
Our mentors are current medical students at top programs who have successfully navigated this process and have experience mentoring others. We received roughly one hundred applications for each mentor hiring round and only selected about the top 5 percent based on mentorship ability, writing, and alignment with our values.

We match you based on personality, communication style, interests, and sometimes geography or school type.
Who will I be working with day to day?
You will work primarily with one of our mentors, all of whom are current MD students who have successfully navigated admissions and have demonstrated mentorship skill. Additionally, our program coordinators and co-founders track your progress, review major decisions, and step in whenever needed. You will also have access to a group chat for quick questions, check-ins, and support so you are never left guessing about your next step.
Do you guarantee admission?
No legitimate program can guarantee admission to a specific medical school. What we do provide is a structured, proven process, expert mentorship, and the First Cycle Guarantee. If you apply on time, stay engaged, and do not get in, we work with you again next cycle at no additional program cost. In practice, our on-time applicants have not needed to use the guarantee, though it is important to us that you feel secure in your med school journey.
How do I get started?
Begin with a free strategy session. We will take a close look at your academics, experiences, and timeline, then give you a clear picture of where you stand and what you would need to become competitive. If the program is a good fit, we outline your plan, timeline, and next steps so you know exactly what to expect moving forward.

If you want this cycle to be your strongest and most strategic yet, schedule your strategy session and we will begin mapping out your path to medical school.
